Why doesn't AWT have a "pit band" to play with artists? This year we do!

Chris Ranney - Oscar met keyboard maestro Chris in Ann Arbor as part of a "speculation deal" being setup with an up-and-coming producer at the start of the 80's. The deal broke down but the friendship remained.
Mr. Ranney has "criss-crossed" (hee-hee) the country and lived on both coasts (NYC, Portland, San Fran) playing in more than a few bands (including Michigan's own Map of the World (Atlantic Records). We are glad to have him as part of our "Merry Band" and think you will enjoy hearing him more often now that he's around.

Mark R Schrock always seems to show up with a relaxed demeanor though grace-with-a-side-of-grit style makes him a terrific partner and player. He also presents music and food at "Salt of the Earth" in beautiful downtown Fennville, Michigan. He joins us as a member of The Merry Band.
Mark says: "I've been playing and performing roots music all my life. Got my first guitar at 8, first bass at 14, inherited my grandpa's fiddle at 17, and picked up a mandolin somewhere along the way. I'm currently playing with my buddies in Jive At Five, Bluecoast Quintet, the Schrock Bros, Madcat, Kane, and Maxwell Street, Delilah DeWylde and the Lost Boys, Jimmy Dillon and the Werewolves, and Drew Nelson and HWY 2."
You can find Mark in these sections: Folk / Roots / Americana
