Co-responding to the broadcast, selected original and "true-traditional" songs will be available for purchase at www.Octoberday.com. You're purchase also advances the the cause of WYCE (who will receive 20% of the purchase price (after transaction fees) from each sale)
And yes, a portion also goes to the artist.
WYCE Station Manager Kevin Murphy will announce 10 "signup" winners who joined the AWT/WYCE at the show. Their prize is a complimentary AWT 2007 DVD being produced by GRTV.
Speaking of GRTV, Channel 25 will broadcast the entire "A Winter's Tune" 2007 Concert on Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24) and Christmas day (Tuesday, December 25) at the slightly off the hour time of 9:02 pm. That's PRIME TIME PLUS (two minutes), nice!
(By contrast Spinal Tap's amps only went to "one better;" AWT is two better!)

DECEMBER 2007:
Downloadable songs from A Winter's Tune ARE NOW AVAILABLE at the
OctoberDay.com Roadside Music Stand!
More songs are slowly appearning, including favorites from past AWT's, so make sure you are on our mailing list for updates.
"Fruitcake for You" by Pow Navarro, from AWT 2006, is now available as is "Shiver" by Rachel Zylstra from AWT 2003.
Look for a a sweet version of Dave Boutette's song for those who have to work Christmas Eve (and those that have to let them go), called "Red Eyed Pilot" (from AWT 2005) .
Over the next months, Octoberday.com will concentrate on posting songs that can be enjoyed over the span of a Wintertime. We will hand pick the best recordings from the archive, add a few new ones, and post as many as we can, as soon as we can.
Many fans have enquired about the "Special Assignment" songs performed by Jimmie Stagger and Bruce Zeeuw (with Lauran Bittinger on Accordion).
Due to recording issues, the "Special Assignment" segment was "not a good listen," so we rounded up the crew and they magnetized a rocking "live in the studio" session a couple nights ago. Look for both "Frost on the Firelight" (with lyric by Frank Salamone / music by Maestro Zeeuw) and "Get Back Home Again" (with Lauran Bittinger on accordion, just like at The Wealthy) to appear shortly.
Thanks for listening!
